Jimi's first book "I Wish It Would Rain" was originally released in 2006. This book tells the story of his battle with the disease of depression. Depression affects thousands of people every day. This book tells his story from growing up in a small town in North Carolina through his years with the band Age of Faith and how depression played such a devestating role in his life. This book is set for a re-release with  new updated chapters in 2011.
